Tim R. Randolph

Tim R. Randolph is an assistant professor at Saint Louis University in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science. He received his B.S. in Medical Technology (Clinical Laboratory Science) in 1983, his M.S. in Medical Technology (Clinical Laboratory Science) in 1987 and is currently working on a Ph.D. He is educated in all aspects of laboratory medicine but holds a specialty in Hematology. Mr. Randolph expects to continue as a professor of clinical laboratory science and eventually to seek external funding to support medical interventions in Haiti.

Tim R. Randolph was born in Fairfield, IL, a small rural community in central, southern Illinois. He was born as the middle child between two sisters, Patricia Fay Naney (48) and Penny May Randolph-Bailey (41). His father was an automobile mechanic and died an untimely death when Tim was 7 years old. Tim’s mother was a homemaker until the death of her husband and has since worked as a waitress and performed custodial services.

Mr. Randolph was first introduced to Christianity by a classmate at age 13 and was baptized at age 16. He has been very active in church activities and developed his first ministry, a music ministry, at age 21. Mr. Randolph has continued the music ministry to date and has developed other local ministries over the years to include Bible Studies and youth activities. In 2000, Mr. Randolph developed a medical ministry in Haiti that he has recently incorporated and is in the process of seeking 501C(3) approval.

Tim R. Randolph is married to Diane Smith Randolph and has two daughters, Emily (16) and Christina (13) by a previous marriage and a stepson, Brandon Barnes (16). His wife Diane is also a professor at Saint Louis University in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. Diane accompanied Tim on a medical mission trip to Haiti in 2002. Emily went on her first medical mission trip to Haiti in 2003 and is planning to join the team again in 2004. His youngest daughter, Christina, is also interested in participating in 2005, once she has entered high school.

Mr. Randolph sees the medical mission ministry in Haiti as a life-long calling. The steady growth of the ministry has led Tim to secure incorporation as Randolph World Ministries, Inc. and to seek a 501C(3) tax-exempt status to benefit his contributors. The addition of board members will help shape the ministry, establish the direction and offer accountability for all activities. Mr. Randolph will serve as President of Randolph World Ministries, Inc. and will be involved in all aspects of ministry activities.

Neil E. Das

Neil E. Das currently serves as Assistant Director for Reference Services at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois. This position involves providing research assistance, carrying out library collection development, and teaching research skills.

Mr. Das was born in Sialkot, Pakistan on November 1, 1969 to Dr. Vincent A. Das of Sialkot, Pakistan and Norma Lee (Bodenbach) Das originally of East Alton, Illinois. Neil was homeschooled for several years, but ultimately graduated from Murree Christian School, a school for missionary and other expatriate children in Northern Pakistan, in 1987. Some schools years were undertaken in the United States during intermittent furloughs. Mr. Das moved to the United States in 1987. He received an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in Edwardsville, Illinois in 1992. Mr. Das began a Master of Arts degree in English at SIUE in 1994, which still needs to be completed. In 2001, he completed a Masters degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois.

Mr. Das is an American citizen and culturally feels the most affinity for American culture, yet he values the rich heritage of Pakistani culture and his experiences there, which provide him with an International perspective on many issues. Until her death in Pakistan in 1986, Mr. Das’ mother was a nursing instructor and an active senior nurse at Memorial Christian Hospital, a missionary hospital in Sialkot, Pakistan. Interactions in this environment and with his mother’s life and work, gave Mr. Das a deep appreciation for the plight of the disadvantaged and their needs for health care and the basic necessities of life. Mr. Das is a Christian, and is currently affiliated with the Presbyterian Church of America. He actively tries to bring his faith to bear in the situations in which he finds himself, offering spiritual guidance and material help when appropriate. Mr. Das is considering moving on in the current year into studies toward some full-time Christian ministry.

Mr. Das provides strong Christian values, the organizational skills of a librarian and a unique cultural perspective to the Board of Directors. Mr. Das will hold the position of Secretary and will also serve Randolph World Ministries as an organizational, cultural and spiritual advisor and assist in the process of long range planning for the ministry.

Thomas E. Tottleben

Tomas E. Tottleben was born on 6/13/48 in E. St. Louis, Illinois and has 3 brothers and 1 sister. His father was a foreman for Swift & Company - a meat packing facility and his mother was a domestic engineer. Mr. Tottleben was taught the basics of Christianity and was raised in a good, God-fearing home.

Mr. Tottleben volunteered for the draft after high school and went straight to Viet Nam on 1- 68. He served for one year in the 25th Infantry Division as a Advisor/Forward Observer for the 5th ARVN Ranger Battalion attaining the rank of Specialist 4th Class.

Upon discharge, Mr. Tottleben attended Southern Illinois University and received a B.A. in Psychology with a Biology minor. Since then, he has been in the microscope business starting out selling for Zeiss, then Olympus, and for the last 15 years through his own company, Tottleben Scientific Company, Inc. Tottleben Scientific Company, Inc. sells and services laboratory and surgical microscopes nationally and internationally.

Tomas E. Tottleben has been married for 27 years to his wife Kim. They have 3 daughters, Natasha 26, Katrina 22, and Danielle 18. Natasha is married with two sons. Katrina recently graduated from Redding Bible School and is also recently married. Danielle is finishing her senior year of home school with Christian Academy and plans to attend business school in St. Louis.

Currently, Mr. Tottleben is a Master's Candidate in Biblical Counseling at Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. He is also finishing a book manuscript, "Sovereign Seed" (Biblical Economics) and a is expecting a fall - winter publish date with Charisma Publishing Company.

Mr. Tottleben’s experience in serving on several Christian Ministry Boards and his background as the principal in the family business qualifies him to serve on the Board of Directors of Randolph World Ministries, Inc. Mr. Tottleben will hold the office of treasurer and serve as a technical and spiritual advisor to Randolph World Ministries, Inc. to help shape the long range plans for the ministry.
